And, yes, Flickr is a great site for storing and sharing images (Picasa does work with Macs, despite its home page saying it's only for PCs running Windows, but don't the Macs at least have to be running Explorer? Even that much Microsoft is too much, in my book). Nevertheless . . . ((and cheers, Ernie Miller, wherever you be), I think I've had occasions, although perhaps not many, when it would have been handy to be able to attach files other than images: text documents, PDFs and so on. Of course some people would abuse attachment privileges just as they abuse message privileges, and others would have trouble with the things and insist it was all the fault of the Freelists system, no matter how far you went in tweaking it to help them out. And of course, if I absolutely want to share text documents or PDFs or whatever, all I have to do is break down and pay $99 a year for my own .Mac subscription. Somehow, I always seem to be able to think of a more immediately gratifying use for those bucks. ----------------------------------------------------------- MUGLO information at <http://www.freewebs.com/muglo> Manage list subscription options at <//www.freelists.org/list/muglo> -----------------------------------------------------------
