I haven't seen the reports on incompatibility issues you describe,
but I am not a very detailed follower of the second by second
reports. Ifthere are ever any incompatibilities, it might be with
printer drivers or some such. All that should have been worked out by
now. If you are just backing up files, they are processor ignostic.
There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.
