Yes - I had a similar experience with Bookmarks being lost - when I 
switched to Jaguar.

The AddressBook losses were mentioned by someone in the Mac Tidbits 
item.  And again I had a similar loss , but managed to retrieve using 
SBook5  -( http://www.sbook5.com/) which has a 'synch with Apple 
Address Book feature'
