Why subsidize at all. The new "wind generators" can supply enough electricity of 500 homes (at least I think I read that somewhere) and cost about $200,000.00. That be 2K for each home if you get together with your neighbors, not counting what you might by able to sell back to Hydro-One etc. A big, ugly windmill with 90-Metre blades to look out my window at VS, "free" ongoing electricity?
