Hi Denny,
are you, by any chance, trying to open it through the list that appears on
the lower part of the "Open" menu? If so, it may be because you have moved
the document to another folder since the last time you opened it. That list
stores the location of the document when you opened it the last time, if
you change its location it will not be able to find it.
