[mso] Re: the Journal feature in Outlook

Well...it's purpose is that it can be used to automatically log stuff
for you....It's interesting that you mention it cuz usually the people I
know who use it are lawyers (and that's what you are, right
Joseph?).....you can use it to auto-log all time spent on emails to
clients, phone calls with clients, time spent using other programs
working on particular projects, etc....anything you do that's on a pay
per time basis....but, personally, I've never done much with it cuz it's
such a hog and slows Outlook to a crawl.

But....you might want to play around with it....it's a step above typing
all that stuff manually, if just a small step...not one of the features
of Outlook that I find to be the best.

Does anyone get any practical use out of this? It's always eluded me
how this could be better than a Word document where I keep my personal
journal.
