I'm still confused by the term 'saved in DOS'...=20
How did Dian's(?) suggestion work out?

by C doucument I do mean the C hard drive C:\ like shown above - but
instead=20
of it being in Word documents it is in DOS - and I didn't think that a
file=20
could be saved in DOS but it is - I don't think the file is corrupt -
because=20
it got saved on a floppy and works and reads just fine -=20
