[mso] Re: problem with formulas appearing on spreadsheet

OK, you had me fooled by saying "enter".  Enter to me (and I think most 
people) is the typing of information into the cell.  What you are doing is 
selecting the cell?

Are your column widths all wrong too?  If so you're probably in the formula 
display mode (or whatever it's actually called).

You toggle this display by ctrl and back quote.  On my keyboard, the back 
quote is with the tilde ~ and lives immediately above the tab key.

Toggling this mode on/off with ctrl ` (ctrl back-quote) on my 2003 will make 
all columns wider and will show you the formulas, rather than the results.

Unfortunately, there is no explicit indication on the screen that you are in 
this mode.
