[mso] Re: problem with formulas appearing on spreadsheet

David and John

  THanks for your input.,

The spreadsheet is littered with formula reading from a data sheet.

When I enter a cell that has a formula it normally reads the resultant of the
calculation, which is what I see, and I can check the formula by reading the
formula entry bar on top of the sheet.

However I appear to have activated something that reveals the formula every
time a go into a cell with a formula. This can be closed by depressing the
entry key, but makes it difficult for me to operate as I normally have.
Furthermore if I have entered the formula holding cell revealing the actual
formula and then depress another cell the location of this cell is
automatically read into the formula of the original cell.

Is there a switch somewhere that toggles between seeing formulas in the cell
or not.

  Thanks for the interest.
