[mso] Re: powerpoint question

Dave,
Open one of the presentations and do View--> Master--> Slide Master. You
should be able to change the logos, etc. there on the master slide. =
Close
the Master View (there should be a button so that you can do that) and =
you
should see your changes.

Once you have done that, I would save a copy of the presentation, rip =
out
the slides, then save that as a template. You should be able to then =
apply
that template to all of the other presentations.=20

If you need detailed directions on applying the template to the other
presentations, let us know which version of PPT you are using. Versions
older than 2000 use one method, versions 2002 and 2003 use a second =
method,
and (just for completeness) 2007 will use a third method.

Subject: [mso] powerpoint question

I don't use ppt very much.

I my employer has is being acquired and
we are changing the company name and logos
everywhere.

I been handed a number of ppt files that
where apparently created with templates that
with the soon to be old company name and logo
and need to be "updated".

I can find nothing in "help" or via google
as to how to "change" the template for a ppt
file or change the existing one or some other
way to get this done without completely
re-creating the with a new template.

Any suggestions as to how to get this done
will be appreciated.

Thanks

Dave
