Probably the most relaible way to troubleshoot this kind of problem is =
to
turn on email logging from within MS Outlook.  see:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300479

This is going to create a text log file that will show all the =
communication
back and forth between your server and your email client.=20
If you are getting dropped connections or some other issues this file =
will
tell you what has happened.

But... once you turn this option on.. be careful... it will create a =
huge
file very quickly.
