That's the weird part, Linda. Contacts is showing as the default =
address
book but all of the contacts don't show. I keep thinking he must have
entered the things in his contacts list though an outside source. Like =
when
he hot synced with his palm pilot. =20
He doesn't really care about the contacts showing. What he wants is to =
be
able to type in a name in the TO... line and have it auto complete. Can =
you
tell me what auto complete looks for? Does it look for the email address =
or
the name of the person you are trying to send to? Is it the display =
name?
All this just works for me in my outlook program. I've never had to =
think
about it.

Ok...try this...open a new mail and click on the To button, when the =
address
book opens, look at the box at the top that says "Show Names from" and =
see
what's in there...use the dropdown and see if his contacts show....if =
they
do, you can set the contacts to be the default in there by going back =
into
the inbox and clicking on the address book icon on the toolbar and =
inside
the address book, go to the Tools menu and choose Options...then, in =
there
you can set contacts to be the default=20
If contacts DON'T show in that dropdown when you click the To button, go
into the Folder List and right click on Contacts and go to =
properties..in
there click on the Outlook Address Book tab and you will see a checkbox =
to
show this folder as an address book...put a check in there.

No, only contacts is listed. If I import an address book into his =3D
contacts
list will that do anything to the contacts already listed?
