hello,
I am running outlook 2000 on a windows xp pro system connected to an imap
server.
I want to create message rules which will copy messages sent from specific
people/lists to folders in my personal folders.

I have created several client side rules, but they never fire. I checked and
they are all set to be run on message arrival. I could use server-side rules,
but then I would have to save the copies in a folder on the server, and I don't
want to use my mailbox quota for these archived messages.

Is there a way to have a client-side rule apply to an imap message? Is there
another method for doing this?
Thanks,
