The way Elizabeth explained it, is about the only way to do it. But know that, if she does discover that she's left it on, she can select all the incorrect case text and hit Shift/F3 to switch case. There are 3 cases, caps, lowercase and title case. Switching to title case will cause all the text to switch to lowercase, except the caps of each sentence. At least it will be faster than retyping text. I need a sound that will be made EVERY time ANY letter is pressed when the caps lock is on, not one that works only when the caps lock button is engaged.=0D What happens to this person is that she frogets to turn off the caps lock= , and because she touch types, doesn't look at the screen , and halfway dow= n the page realizes that she was using capitals. If she had a sound each ti= me she typed a letter, that would not happen.=0D Errol=0D =0D -------Original Message-------=0D =0D From: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=0D Date: Monday, November 25, 2002 04:58:54=0D To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=0D Subject: [mso] Re: noisy capital letters=0D =0D Yes, it's easy.=0D =0D Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Accessibility Options=0D =0D Select the Keyboard Tab (it's the first one, so=0D probably already selected)=0D =0D Down the bottom is a Toggle Keys option=0D =0D Click the box next to "Use toggle keys" to put a tick=0D in it.=0D =0D Click OK and that's it.=0D =0D =0D > Is there any way of making the keyboard "beep" if=0D one has caps lock engaged.=0D =0D =0D __________________________________________________=0D Do you Yahoo!?=0D New DSL Internet Access from SBC & Yahoo!=0D http://sbc.yahoo.com=0D *************************************************************=0D You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx o= r MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx=0D =0D To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=0D =0D To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to =0D mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=3Dunsubscribe=0D =0D Or, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu.
