you didn't mention what o/s so not sure where to tell you to go.

but handicap/accessibility settings will do what you are describing.

Can someone tell me what I my son has done, he reset some properties under
display and now I can not see colors in any backgrounds, to better explain,
when you open word program and set a background color for the page, there is
nothing there, if you open a wed page templet in word you are not getting
any colors either, the font colors change but that is all you can do.  BUT,
I have also noticed that my MSN account - hotmail, the background colors are
all wrong also and not showing colors on web pages as I pull them up.  What
has he done, he does not know, I can not figure this one out and it is
driving me nuts.  Please help me if you can.
