Hi sorry must not have seen that.
I see the data file management but don't see the new profile
At any rate the new profile does the same thing as the old, I get the
password prompt so it's not working and I'm beginning to think it's got
to be my server because my work email server has no such problems

As I said, Lexi, simply point the new profile to your old PST file...

File > Data File Management...

Easy!  ;-)
