-Ok so in reading I find that I have to be in internet mail only mode
tho outlook 2002 does not show that in help/about. But I was looking at
options in corporate vs internet and I'm the latter....

Hang on, are you saying you are not sure which mode you are in? If so,
how do you know whether the
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=259416
Fix applies to you?

Go to Help > About to see what mode you are in.

Here are the instructions for changing modes:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/choosingmode.htm#ol2000

With a new profile, you can simply point it to the existing PST file to
keep all your emails, etc.
Rules... I can't remember...something about a file with a .RWZ
extension?
Somebody else will remember, I'm sure... ;-)

:No How do you switch to IMO and how do you know if you are in
     :corp/workgroup or imo?
:No I don't connect to an exchange server
:I'll try the new profile, is there a way to transfer all
     :my emails,
:rules and addys to the new profile?
: Yes sp 1 and 2 neither of which worked.
:Yes I can...I try not to because most lists don't like
     :quoted email
     :Thanks Lexi
     :
     :
:So... Have you tried switching to IMO from Corp/Workgroup?
     :
:Do you connect to an Exchange server? If not, then there
     :is no reason to
     :stay with Corp/Workgroup mode.
     :
:A new profile can be VERY helpful in these situations.
:Profiles can become subtly corrupt and cause these type
     :of issues. Have
:you applied all the relevant SP's for Outlook ?
     :
:Also, can you quote some of the email you are replying to when you
:respond. Very hard to follow the thread when you don't. ;-)
