Hi
When I use the "sum" formula I"l get a reply as "#value" instead of the
expected number answer that I need. The reason is because at least one
of the cells being calculated is a word and not a number. What I want to
know is:
A. Is there a way of converting the word to a number value (say "0") OR
B. Is there a way of having the "sum" formula ignoring these cells.
The word appears in different cells so the solution woulds have to be a
"general" one and not specific for one cell.
I hope I've explained the problem coherently.
TIA
Errol
