Hi Mike

It's a small point, but mail companies do not always appreciate All Caps
addresses as their machine readers don't necessarily cope with them that
well.  It might be worth a check with your nearest main advice office.

It's a known issue for many people too that all caps can be really hard to
read - I for one hate all those websites that list wads of text with few
line breaks and loads of capitals!

As a side hint, if you are using Word to mailmerge from Excel you need not
worry about checking the spreadsheet first of all.  You can set up your
labels template in such a way that all the necessary fields are given the
correct font formatting (eg Sentence case, lowercase, UPPERCASE, Title
Case) by means of Format> Change Case.  That way, no matter what you have
typed into your Excel sheet you will be able to standardise the printout
for the labels.
