hi
have a form were the data is entered as time stated and time finished on a
daily basis and then a calcuation is made to total the housrs worked per week
how do you add up a series of times in and a series of time out
there is a possibility that additional hours need to be added to this total and
this is done as a an adjustment and the totals summed to gove a running total.
a working week is 37 hours and where the total hhours worked is greater than 37
the extra hours are carried forward to the following week
where the hours worked are less than 37 and assuming no hours carried foreward,
the following week starts with a debit number of hours. is it possibly in excel
to have negative hours
can suppy example of form if necessary

Subject: RE: [mso] Re: Date format in Excel - really XY graph for ANN M
Thankyou for the replies re the scatter graph using a column with countries,
the solution was to hightlight the three columns and plot the graph and then
when hovering over a point the following info would appear, country x and y
points, unfortunately there are 100 lines and hence 100 countries, so what I am
trying to do is plot the scatter graph and when I hover over a point it shows
that particular country and the values
Any ideas
Thanks in anticipation

Ann
I am assuming your data in in three columns next to each other. This
works for Excel 2003.
When you create the graph, select all the data in the three columns
before you click the chart wizard. Then click the chart wizard button
(or however you start the wizard in your version). Select scatter graph
and accept all the defaults for the chart. Don't choose to label the
points. Then when you hover over a point it will list the country as
the point name and the x and y as values for it, like: series 1 point
"Albania" (23, 34).=3D20

Am trying to draw a scatter graph in excel, have 3 column , name of
country , x value and y value, I can draw the x y graph using scatter
graph , what I want to do is when I hover over a point I want to be able
to read the point values in addition to the name of the country, I can
at present read the x y values but not the name of the country. I do not
want to have the values reproduced on the graph as there are too many
points for the values to be read =3D20 =3D20 Any help =3D20 =3D20 ann
