Hello
I want to start by saying thank you and sorry for writing so much. I
appreciate your time. I was hoping if you could help me. I am trying to
create a calculator on excel. It is for estimating the cost of coverage for
commercial buildings. So far I have created a few drop down menus for the
user: Industry, Class, Square Ft, Rates. Whatever the user picks in the
industry menu, it will automatically change the options in the Class menu.
And whatever I pick in the Class it will give me different options in the
Square Ft menu. Here is my problem. Different Square Ft will have result in
different rates. However, sometimes I have two different rates for the same
Square Ft. For example, lets say I pick the following options, Industry:
Educational, Class: Gymnasium, Square Ft: 5-15SF, which will give me a rate
of 97.00. And with another example Industry: Habitational Class: Hotel
Square Ft: 5-15SF will give me a rate of 66.30. I know I'm suppose to use an
IF statement here but not sure how. Thanks again
