[mso] Re: case of the missing cursor

If you press the Alt key and release it without doing anything with it, 
focus will go to the window's menu bar (i.e. "File" will be highlighted in 
the menu bar).  After that, it's a matter of luck what happens.  As you 
type, you might create key sequences that activate menus, or you mightn't.
