You might check to see what your system settings are. It looks like your
currency is set to European, not US.
In the control panel, go to Regional Options and see how it's set. This is,
of course, if you're using Win2k. For win98, I know there's something
similar, I just don't know it off the top of my head.

Hello Group,

I'm trying to format a numeric cell in Xcel 97.  I'll explain by using an
example and break it down by asking questions in a serious of emails.

I want cell c6 to display $7,500.00

Right now it is displaying $7 500,00

Notice the comma is in the wrong place.  Why?  I went into help, it wasn't
any help.

The cell has a custom format on it right now. I want it to have a currency
format. The options for this are 1234,00

                            (1234,00) with each option printed in red and
black.

Any and all assistance appreciated.
