[mso] Word - page numbers

I frequently want to start page numbers at page 2 or 3 and cannot work out
how to do it. I am not talking about a master document with chapters â?? my
current document is a form to be completed to which I want to add unnumbered
page at the front of instructions. This will be downloaded and people will
fill
in the form without the notes and let me have it back. The Help is useless
and the books I have do not seem to help much either. I am sure it involves
inserting a section break but even trying this I do not seem to be able to
make it work as I want. Any thoughts?
Regards
Michael
