Is it displaying placeholders? Several things to try:
Check tools/options/view to make sure drawings is checked, then go to the
edit tab, insert/paste as and select 'in front of text' as your default.
If you are getting just the placeholders on the graphic itself, try
selecting the graphic and formatting the layout to 'in front of text'.
Changing the default settings may help new graphics in new documents.
Editing the actual graphic in the document may help what's existing.
What version Word? 2002 did this to me when I first converted from 97, but
once I changed my settings, no more problems. If these don't help, please
post with more information to help with troubleshooting.
Thanks, Cathy

When I open a word document it will not display the graphics on the
document. I was thinking of deleting the normal.dot file. Does anyone
think this would help.
