[mso] Re: Word and Adobe Acrobat


What version of Acrobat are you using?  4.0 creates way bigger files than
either 3.0 or 5.0.  Some sort of glitch that Adobe freely admits too.

When I create PDF's from word I go to "print - distiller - adobe options."
I make sure to tell it NOT to embed ANY fonts.  Files come out a very nice
size (usually under 20K) and look very nice.

Well I have gave that up I think the software stinks always has and  don't
follow anything     Sorry but that's how I feel.  ADOBE could do much better
!!

You might try printing to file and then distilling that instead. I know that
usually works better for me when converting Quark documents to PDF.
