Actually, Lisa...that's a pretty good idea!
Rather than just adding the text in the textbox in the header layer...you
could do it up as a graphic image, as long as the image was sized properly
so that the text was clear and resizing it isn't needed (much) so that you
don't end up with "rubber text" (warp text in a graphic due to irregular X/Y
resizing.
Then if they DO find their way into the image area, they still can't do much
about it.

Hi Scot,
PMFJI for a relative newbie, but if I want people not to be able to edit
text I don't use text. I don't know if this is anywhere near what you mean
but I enter the text in another program like paint or in fact I use an old
freebie copy of paint shop pro and save it as a picture. Then I insert the
picture into the document usually in a table cell so that I have easy
control over placement, size and so on with any other real text that I might
want to put into other cells.
