This is so timely.  I'm working with a woman who is writing her family
history which she's going to publish on CD and in printed form.  We have 24
chapters in separate documents and have been applying styles to use for the
TOC and marking index entries and also making a table for her graphics. The
family tree is in Excel and we have PowerPoint Slideshows of various family
activities.  Our next step is the Master Document.

If you have to link files to a master Word doc...I'd suggest you check = out
Greg's award winning File cataloger...which he built for me for EXACTLY =
THIS PURPOSE. It'll link thousands of files in seconds. And I'll also be =
writing an article about it in TechTrax (www.mousetrax.com/techtrax/) for
April...explaining how I use it regularly to add more tables to the =
master, since so many folks have asked me about that. Great for support/code
libraries, which I'll explain in that article.
