If you have to link files to a master Word doc...I'd suggest you check =
out
Greg's award winning File cataloger...which he built for me for EXACTLY =
THIS
PURPOSE. It'll link thousands of files in seconds. And I'll also be =
writing
an article about it in TechTrax (www.mousetrax.com/techtrax/) for
April...explaining how I use it regularly to add more tables to the =
master,
since so many folks have asked me about that. Great for support/code
libraries, which I'll explain in that article.

I'm just getting involved in a project that involves a lot of linking of
multiple files into 1 master Word document and I have a number of =
questions.
So far, I'm working with Word documents, Excel and Powerpoint as my =
source
files. I'm using Word 2002 with Windows 2000.
Can a pdf file be linked into Word?
When I'm relinking documents into the master file by using Edit>Links:
Can I highlight/select all the documents I want to update/relink and =
have it
all done at once or do I need to choose them one by one?
I've heard there are problems when linking documents that contain =
headers
and/or footers into the master document. True/False?=3D20
What other issues do I need to watch for?
TIA/Holly
