Hello,
Task: Inserting PowerPoint Slides (avg 110 slides per document) into a Word
Document (avg 500 pages of text).
Word 2003 Page setup - landscape
Word 2003 Page layout - center vertical alignment
Paste a PowerPoint slide as link into the word document.
Resize to fit whole page. (7.5" Height - accepting ratio default for width)
First Problem - In Word 2003 center vertical alignment throws slide to
bottom of page (and half the slide disappears). Since entire document needs
to be centered vertical it would be very time consuming to have to do
something 'special' for slide pages.
Second Problem - In Word 2003, after pasting and formatting PowerPoint 2003
slide, I will (at times) need to 'update link(s)' the slide(s) shrinks back
down to original paste size.
None of the above occurred in version 2002 (Word & PowerPoint).
I would follow the exact steps laid out above and placement would remain in
center of page and slides would remain 'big'.
Because I have to get my work done I have reverted back to Word 2002 and
PowerPoint 2002. I would like to solve this tho if possible.
Doing a search on Google groups I found a few ppl with the same problems but
no one had a solution.
Doing a search on Microsoft KB I was unable to find this problem - but could
have been using incorrect search phrase/words.
Thank you very much.
Carol
