If you just open a file, change the zoom % and save it, the zoom will not save, but if you do anything to alter the document itself after you've changed the zoom, such as add/delete a space, and then save it, the zoom will save with it and you can re-open it at that %. I learned you had to do something inside the document to force it to also save the zoom. It works on a document by document basis. Not sure if it applies to Word 2003, but that's how it works in 2002. One of my customers has a problem. She wants to save certain files at 85 percent. She saves the file but when she reopens the file, it may or may not come up as 85 percent. Sometimes it comes up as 100 percent or 80 percent. Is there any way to force Word 2003 to save those files and keep the zoom percentage at 85 percent? Do you have any idea what is causing this problem? Thank you in advance, Joomi Lee ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
