[mso] Word 2003: Apply Custom Color to Text

To All,

I have created a custom color for some text in a Word 2003 document. Is there
any way to make that color an easy choice when I want to apply it to other
bits of text after applying black to intervening text? IOW, Help says I can
use the little icon that looks like the letter "A" on the Format toolbar to
apply the most recently used color, but I often want to apply the custom color
after having used black for a while. I would like to avoid having to re-define
the custom color every time I need it.

I suppose I could write a macro for this, but other Microsoft applications
remember several user-defined custom colors. Can Word 2003 remember custom
colors?

Thanks for the help.
