Hi Linda
Oh dear - I knew I would get caught out one day. No, Linda, I don't
really have a clue about recording macros in Word or any other MS
product for that matter. All my macro experience was with Wordperfect
in DOS. Showing my age again :(
So I bit the bullet, went and recorded the macro, but then thought how
in g's name do I assign it to a button to add to my toolbar? Feeling
really stupid, I did what we so rarely manage to do. Asked the Help
file. Now I have what I really wanted, which is my command assigned to
a keyboard shortcut of Alt-L!
Fanfare!
Thank you for forcing me to do something I had been resisting for so
long! Now I will go away and lurk again for a while, but this time with
a smile on my face :)
Anne

I don't know if there already IS a shortcut for changing from portrait
to landscape, but it would be simple to record a macro to do that and
then assign a button to the macro. Do you know how to record macros and
assign them to a toolbar button, Anne? If so, just turn on the macro
recorder and go thru the file>page setup>landscape routine and then stop
the recorder. done

Can anybody enlighten me as to a quicker way of changing page layout
from portrait to landscape? Is there a button I can add to my menu bar?
Bored with having to go into File>Page Setup>Landscape each time!
Anne
