1. Use the format painter. It's on the standard toolbar, to the right of
the paste icon. What you may not know is that if you double-click it,
you can then apply the selected format multiple times, each with just a
single click. When you've done, just click the toolbar icon again. If
you prefer the keyboard, CTRL+SHIFT+C picks up a format and CTRL+SHIFT+V
pastes it.
2. Some people prefer to do this in Excel, and I've heard of some
masochists who swear by Publisher. It takes all sorts...

Subject: [mso] Word 2002 Paste Table Cells
Hi Group,
I have designed a printed form in Word 2002 using the Draw Table
function.
The cells in the second column have two rows for each row in the first
column,
and the two rows are of unequal depth. (The crude box below tries to
convey
the idea.)
My question: How do I copy the format from column 2 of row 1 into most
of the
other rows? (The table does have a header row that is different from
the body
rows.)
I tried several options of the Paste Special function, but none produced
the
desired result.
Slightly different question: Is there a better application within the
Office
suite for making forms? My forms don't have logos or graphics, but they
do
have header info, and some of the cells contain text.
Thank you for the help.
