Thanks, Beth! Maybe in their next release!! What is the control D
function? I don't think I know what that is. When I tried it just now in
Word, it brought up the format box. How do I use it?
Thanks, Cathy

Please respond to
mso
.....
This limitation drives me crazy too. Here's what I did: My hyperlinks are
all in the A column, and the hyperlinks all point to JPG files in one
folder. I made one hyperlink in the required tedious fashion and then
copied that hyperlink down the column using the control+D function. Then I
edited each hyperlink file name by hand, referring to a half-screen
Explorer window as I did so. Tedious, but not so tedious as clicking on
subdirectory after subdirectory each time.
It's not a great work-around but I always prefer typing to clicking.
