Morning,

Lots of ppl do it.  And Microsoft has this add-in that will remove much
of the code that is inherent to Word.  Are you asking "how" to do it?
Make up your document, SAVE AS HTM or HTML.  

I would make a backup copy of the original document because sometimes
saving as a Webpage will throw things around.
