[mso] Won't Delete

Í hope I've got the correct email address for posting messages?
Question: I go to "Add/Remove" to remove something
An then I click on it ( USB pen) & then I'm asked if I really want to delete it 
I say "OK" then it tells me its been deleted however when i return it is still 
here. i even tried to delete it in safe mode but no dice. Surely there has to 
be a way>
