[mso] Re: Winword Error & Service Packs from Dec 2002

Open Word and go to the Help menu and choose About Microsoft Word....if SP3
is installed, it will say so in there

Subject: [mso] Winword Error & Service Packs from Dec 2002

Hello dear faithful internet technicians. Smile. It has been 2 l/2 months
since we worked on the WinWord Error, deleting normal.dot, Works 2000, Abode
Acrobat... And So far I have not have any of the WinWord messages. Yippee.
In fact I decided to install a new Abode Acrobat and that has not affect
Microsoft Word 2000 operation. All is fine. Thanks dear ones for all your
help. Now onto to a question that was pending from Dec. About service
packs.

Last we talked you advised that I download Sp1,1,3. I decided to order the
CD and it has taken since Dec. to receive it.

I put it in the tray today to install and was notified I needed Word 2000
Service Pack 1. So downloaded that from the Internet with no problem.
However when I put the CD in to install SP 3 I had some problems and had to
reinstall. When I finished I was told it has been installed, but I cannot
find it in my downloaded folder or in the "find" files. When I go to My
Computer and click add/install it shows Microsoft 2000 SP 1 but not SP 3.
Is this a problem?

Just want to be sure there is nothing to worry about since it took 6 months
to resolve the WinWord error from back in June 2002.

Norma
