Set that sender as a trusted source and it'll provide you open access to Fox
News or whichever you set. Right click the email and choose Junk Mail and
set them as a safe sender.

I can disable it, but it gets annoying to have to click the link at the top
and then select 'Turn on links (not recommended)'.
I want to turn it off globally!

Could it be that this is the new link checker than will disable links that
are not in the same domain as the sender of the email? That would explain
why it is selective. It can be changed by clicking on the message that is
in the header of the email, after you open it. I believe you can change the
settings for this when you click on that little message. BUD
