If the email is in your spam folder, links won't work from there. But other
than that...they should. Granted, you may have to download the images
first...but the junk folder is set that way specifically to protect you from
yourself. Just move them out of that folder and they'll work.

One of the last Office Security updates started blocking some links, but not
all. Apparently this is a measure to keep malware from installing, but I
have other security in place to stop unwanted installs. It is aggravating!
Anyone know how to turn this 'feature' off? Maybe a Registry hack?
