Hi, Dian. Yes, I'm talking Outlook (with Word as editor). As I'm typing this, I expanded the Insert menu. No ITEM option; and yes, the entire menu is expanded. Did you upgrade from 2k to XP? I'm looking at a clean install. tj TJ Higley That's Power - Christian Rock www.thatspower.org For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline. What application are you talking about? I assumed you mean in Outlook. I see Insert/Item in Outlook XP with no problem. So I just checked my Outlook 2000 system to see if it was different, as I couldn't remember. But they're both exactly the same. Are you talking about some other application within Office? Remember, the menus don't expand until you hold your mouse over them. So could it be that this option just isn't showing when you immediately click the Insert menu? To avoid the expanding menu item, you could modify it, but it's much easier to just get into the habit of DOUBLE clicking any menu to instantly max out all the items when needed. Let us know... Insert Item was a very handy feature that seems to be missing in the new version. Have they renamed it something else? Am I just missing it? tj TJ Higley That's Power - Christian Rock www.thatspower.org For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.
