[mso] Re: Website development

I'll second what Tina says, Dian. I have a few php things on my site (and
I'm far from a genius with that stuff) and I have no problems using FP. I
don't even remember what I had to do to set it up, but it certainly wasn't
that difficult or I know I would have abandoned it.

And psssst...Tina....there are two things you will probably never get Dian
to do....
1.) agree that FrontPage 2003 is every bit as good as Dreamweaver
And 2.) trim her posts (ROFL)

Play nice gals. I don't mind a discussion about how FP compares to other
webpage editors, but I don't want a battle between two of my favorite MS
MVPs ;-)

Personally, I have the opposite problem....I can't use most of the great
plugins for FP, because they all use asp and I'm set up on the fastest
server my hosting company has (by choice cuz it really outperforms their
other ones) and that's a Unix server which obviously doesn't support asp.
Thank God the people who make the search addon I use in FP listened to the
pleas of the FP users and made a php version (which works great, by the
way...no setup problems at all!!)

Tina...can you try to remember to remove that "spam alert" from your subject
lines when you reply? I'm sure that's causing some people's filters to
delete your posts. Thanks.

It's a simple matter of clicking a few buttons, if it's a problem go get dw
.. pay the money .. endure the steep learning curve and I'm presuming
here.... get to the same situation where you have to enable one or the other
setting! I thought you were asking a question I didn't realise you were just
wanting to complain about Microsoft's well known marketing methods, still I
hope it helped someone else.

 - Remember to snip.

btw you could just use np (same with dw) alongside fp .... or even a third
editor..
