Hi Cathy, Beth, Geoff:
I have regained the ability to move a drawing canvas and all its contents to
arbitrary places on the page.
I'm not sure exactly which of the suggested options is responsible, however,
in Advanced Layout Picture Position, I have both "Move object with text" and
"allow overlap" check-marked and in Wrapping style Text wrapping, I have
selected "Square". In Options | View, I do not have Picture placeholder
check-marked, and on the Edit tab, I have Insert/paste pictures as "In front
of text".
Many thanks for your help.
Ray Shapp
