Ray, Are you unchecking the option to "Move object with text"? It's on the Picture Position tab of the Advanced Layout window. If the option is grayed out, then you've chosen In Line With Text on the Text Wrapping tab of the Advanced Layout window; I believe the option is available for all other choices. As noted in my previous email, I have no problems getting to the (advanced) Layout tab for formatting the graphic nor do I have problem getting to the Layout tab for the drawing canvas. The problem is that when I try to drag the border of the drawing canvas, the canvas placeholder (dotted line rectangle) moves as appropriate, but the whole thing snaps back to the upper left corner of the page as soon as I release the left mouse button. IOW, the dragging doesn't "stick". Until recently, I was able to move individual graphics or grouped objects (such as graphic and caption), as well as entire drawing canvases to any arbitrary place on a page. I think I may have recently mis-set some option which now prevents arbitrary placements. My question, then, is: What option must I restore to regain my former functionality? If it's not an option that needs re-setting, then please suggest something to troubleshoot.
