[mso] Terri's Add to Address book question (was Competing list [OT])

Well...that's weird....the instructions are for Outlook 2002 which is
part of Office XP but the instructions are for everything BUT Windows
XP...LOL....I assume you use the instructions for Windows 2k then

And thanks Dian....I was looking all over for that feature in Outlook
2002 and thought I was going nuts....I'm assuming they removed it becuz
it really is a dangerous thing to have with all the worms going
around....bad enuf you send them to your friends, but if everyone you
ever replied to ended up in your address book, you could REALLY do some
damage LOL

I always hated that feature....when I think of all the bozos I have
replied to in my lifetime, I can't imagine wanting all of them in my
address book.

I agree. The bottom line is to get the answer and solve the problem. So
if you don't get an answer here (unusual), then I don't see a problem
suggesting other means.

I guess the netiquette issue would depend on what the person SAID.
Nothin' wrong with bar hoppin', but to run in a joint and yell that this
place sucks and there's a much better party going on down the
street...well, THAT'S just rude! (At least, whisper<vbEg>)

And I THINK they removed that option, Linda. They have this dopey new
intellisense feature that puts anyone's name who you even THOUGHT about
writing, into the list of suggestions. I think if you turn off the
suggestions, THEN you won't get ever Tom, Dick and Harry you ever wrote
showing up on the list.
