I guess I miss your point, Ian....how can you compare a discussion about the different uses of Access and Excel (which are both part of Office) with "IE Outlook express, photoshop and other issues"? They have nothing to do with Office....Access and Excel certainly do tho. Anyway...I'm ending this thread because it seems to be upsetting some members, but certainly NOT becuz I see it as "off topic". The thread is ended...sorry gang....it's not worth it if it makes members uncomfortable. And pssst, Ian...while we're discussing group policies....PLEASE trim your posts!! Enlightening and interesting it may be but there is no end to what can be brought up because both parties are right - they use the software to do what they want it to do! I may be totally off mark and if so apologise, but I do feel that some of the arguments made on this subject are totally unnecessary and achieve little. If I have misinterpreted the purpose of the list - apologies. If we can just have a policy to just delete then lets make the list more inclusive and cover IE Outlook express, photoshop and other issues!!!
