If you just trying to sync your inbox use an IMAP server. You can sync
your inbox and a few folders, but you need to be online or set the
emails to download on each machine. It would be harder and take more
bandwith to synch an entire PST Folder's worth of email (depending on
the size of your folder.
You need to save your old email, just in case, set-up new account on
each machine with Gmail's imap settings and make sure you have IMAP
turned on instead of, or in addition to POP3.
