[mso] Re: Suggestions needed from Word Perfect converts

I don't know if WP users still have these tools that they prefer but I do
remember that every time I've faced an audience of WP users in that
situation their number one and number two stumbling blocks were Reveal
Codes and Styles.

Styles were easy to teach. Teaching them that they didn't need Reveal
Codes with a true WYSIWYG app was nearly impossible for me to accomplish.
And, of course, their dependence on that feature is very version
dependent. If you're not familiar with Reveal Codes, they're essentially a
carry over from the days when there was no such thing as WYSIWYG on the PC
and they allowed you to look at a block of text, see what font, leading,
kerning, etc., that block of text was set up to use.

Strangely enough, even after WP went to WYSIWYG, they still included this
tool...and lots of people continued to waste time looking at it.<g>

With thinking this clear, is coding really a good idea?"
