[mso] Re: Shortcut to Merge Cells

I'm not aware of a shortcut key. I just use appropriate toolbar icons.

However, when I have a lot of merging to do, it usually takes the form of
merging many rows across their columns, but keeping the rows separate. If
you put the "Merge Across" button onto the toolbar, you can select a
rectangular area and merge them into multiple wide areas in one go.

The other two merge icons I put onto my toolbar are "Merge Cells" and
"Unmerge Cells", and I remove the one that comes on the toolbar by default.

These three buttons give me all the merging I ever seem to do, with a
minimum of effort.
