Good afternoon:
I've been a lurker of this friendly group for a while now and figured
that one of your MS Office guru's would be able to help with my dilemma.
This past week, one of my clients asked for assistance sharing Outlook
contacts, calendars, and possibly a mailbox with everyone within their
organization.
The problem is they are running 10 computers on a sort of peer-to-peer
network. One computer is designated as the file and print server
running Windows XP Professional 64. The majority of the desktop
machines are using Outlook 2007, with a few still using Outlook 2003.
The organization does not have an Exchange server. Instead, they are
using POP/SMTP services provided by their internet provider.
Can anyone please recommend a stable and rather inexpensive suggestion
to complete this task? An option to set security on who can read/write
the calendars would be ideal.
Thank you for any suggestions or titles that you would recommend.
